Trick or Treat.  Chicanery or Corny Candy.  My lil crew dressed up this year to laugh in the Devil’s face.  We were Christmas carolers and we hit the streets of Asheville to sing of the glorious birth of our Savior.  We didn’t sing well and we didn’t sing very loudly, but we had a great time telling every passerby “Merry Christmas!”  Asheville was full of its usual strange folks dressed in unusually strange clothing, but there wasn’t a whole lot of chicanery.   It was calm and enjoyable.  But we were home by 10 pm.
