\ dih-SKRY \ , transitive verb;
1.
To catch sight of, especially something distant or obscure; to discern.
2.
To discover by observation; to detect.Today I did a drive by to descry my old magnolia. Tis a tree that used to be in my grandparent’s front yard, overlooking the water. I loved the tree like I loved any of my lifelike babydolls, even moreso. I remember climbing as high as I could, then just sitting and dreaming for hours. My grandma took a picture all of the cousins in the tree, and she had to draw me in because I was so much higher. I love when she tells that story.
