I saw a recipe in a magazine for homemade cheerwine ice cream and I haven’t stopped thinking about it.  Today we moved the ice cream cooler from the Soda Shop out into the parlor of the house my apt is in.  I am craving that ice cream and I ran out to see if it was still there, but they had moved it, probably because they could see my sweet tooth all morning during the moving process.  I’m still tempted to make sure both doors are locked and that ice cream isn’t just waiting there for me to enjoy it.  Today I tested the moose tracks ice cream to make sure it hadn’t expired.  It hadn’t.  It was delicious.  I love cheerwine and the picture in the recipe gave me quite the hankering for it.  Perhaps I will run to the store to get some ice cream and cheerwine, and just drink it along with sweet treat, since I do not have an ice cream maker to make the real deal.
