abut.

\uh-buht\ , verb;
1.To be adjacent; touch or join at the edge or border.
2.To end at.
I’d love to get adjacent to the hundreds of yellow daylillies on I240.  The traffic laws do not allow me to abut this part of the road.  Merging onto the interstate while in a curve is a dangerous place to place the beauty of spring.
