lonely planet.

I bought a Lonely Planet guidebook to New Zealand for 50 cents on eBay. It’s packed full of great advice on the best secondhand bookstores, cozy coffee shops, and the most beautiful beaches and hikes.

The previous owner of the guidebook is someone very unlike me. In fact, I have learned to note the things she hasn’t highlighted and ignore the things she has.

Or perhaps I should have an experience that’s totally out of my comfort zone and listen to her…

Neh. I want coffee and books and beaches. And some silence during the night.
