Dad, Grandpa, and I walked to the clubhouse where my grandparents live to find large print books. They help you see the words more clearly, and they also make you turn the pages a lot quicker. Once we got home, I told my grandpa about a new book I picked out at the library.
Me: “It’s a bit far out, but the author has impressed me in the past. It’s about this kid who falls through the grate in his laundry room and ends up in some crazy underland. There are at least five books in the series.”
Grandpa: “Oh, my. Now don’t get too involved in this, sweetie. You really just need to find a mate.”
