I rented an audio book from the library. I used to think they’d make me sleepy, but I absolutely love being read to. I listen to it so often, I find that I’m having a hard time deciphering between the protagonist’s life and my life. I check my phone as if I’ll have a text message from Coach Carr, her huge irrational (…OR IS IT?!) crush. I even searched the garage last night for an old Walkman so I could listen while in my hammock last night. We still have those t-shirt synchers from the 90’s, but not a portable CD player. I’m such a rapt listener, I’m off to listen in my car during lunch.
