I started work today at the outfitters store. Learning a new place full of new people and new products results in a bit of information overload. I know within a couple weeks it’ll all be normal, like using your ring finger to hit your blinker as you steer.
Today was very positive. I feel like my new coworkers are already my friends. I wonder if their blogs say the same. I was made fun for my height because I get lost very easily behind the fixtures. I told them I could wear bells, then as I approach the cash register I could say, “I’m here to *ring* you up!” and jingle my bells. They laughed and told me I’m very “punny”. We’re going to get along just fine.
